Delivery and Returns


PROCESSING OF ORDERS

We process orders immediately within business hours (9.00am-5.00pm NZT Monday-Friday) and aim to get your item to you as soon as possible regardless of where you are across the globe. We'll keep you posted on your order status via email, including a tracking number (for express) once your order has been shipped.

SHIPPING

The below shipping times are estimates. Whilst we cannot always fully guarantee the couriers deliveries within these times, we will do our dandiest to notify you if we believe there will be a delay in the shipment of your order.

Please note items will not be posted or delivered on public holidays.

New Zealand

FREE Overnight Courier Delivery (estimated 1-3 days)

Australia

Courier Delivery (tracked) $20 NZD (estimated 3-7 days) 

Rest of the World

Express Delivery $45 NZD (estimated delivery 5-7 days most countries, however could be up to 10 days for remote locations)

RETURNS + REFUNDS

We understand the hesitations of buying online so whilst we're certain you'll love your purchase, if you did decide it's just not for you, we do offer a FREE return service for our New Zealand based customers.

Returns must be received within 30 days from the date of purchase to be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will be processed within 1-5 days upon return of the product, provided that all items are returned in original condition and packaging suitable for re-sale. Please note the original shipping charges are non-refundable and returns are for products purchased on the Common People website only. 

To return an item within New Zealand:

  1. Email our Customer Care Team at contact@commonpeople.co.nz and let them know you'd like to return an an item. They will email you a prepaid tracking label

  2. Print and attach the label to the parcel

  3. Drop the parcel at your local NZ Post Shop


For returns from all other countries, please address the item back to us at Common People, 120 Lismore Street, Wanaka, 9305, New Zealand. The return of the item is at the customers expense and responsibility until it reaches us. We recommend that you take out postal insurance.

International Orders - Duties + Taxes

Depending on where you are in the world, you may have to pay additional taxes or import duties if the purchase amount is above a certain threshold. If you're unsure, contact your local customs office for information. Common People is not responsible for any additional taxes or duties incurred by your country.

When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
