We understand the hesitations of buying online so whilst we're certain you'll love your purchase, if you did decide it's just not for you, we do offer a FREE return service for our New Zealand based customers for full priced products purchased.
Please note sale items or items purchased on promotion are not eligible for returns or refunds, all sales are final.
Returns must be received within 30 days from the date of purchase to be eligible for a refund. Refunds are for full price items only.
Refunds will be processed within 1-5 days upon return of the product, provided that all items are returned in original condition and packaging suitable for re-sale. Please note the original shipping charges are non-refundable and returns are for products purchased on the Common People website only.
To return an item within New Zealand:
- Email our Customer Care Team at email@example.com and let them know you'd like to return an an item. They will email you a prepaid tracking label
- Print and attach the label to the parcel
- Drop the parcel at your local NZ Post Shop
For returns from all other countries, please address the item back to us at Common People, 18 Dunmore Street, Wanaka, 9305, New Zealand. The return of the item is at the customers expense and responsibility until it reaches us. We recommend that you take out postal insurance.
Please note, earrings and magazines are not eligible for returns. Any items purchased on sale or promotion are not eligible for returns, refunds or exchanges.

International Orders - Duties + Taxes
Depending on where you are in the world, you may have to pay additional taxes or import duties if the purchase amount is above a certain threshold. If you're unsure, contact your local customs office for information. Common People is not responsible for any additional taxes or duties incurred by your country.
When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
